Wise 4-year-old on marriage

Brooklyn and Benson have been playing together very well lately. This is not always the case so I am pleased. Today I heard them play that they were getting married. Brooklyn said something like, "Ok. Stand here. Now we are married! And we drive away. Now its time to do the dishes!" Yes. That is what marriage is about - serving each other and working together.

Also, for Easter we hang up pictures of Christ all around the house and the kids discover them throughout the day. They are still up (mostly) a month later. For the past two nights, Brooklyn has taken one down when we are getting together for scripture study and "given us a lesson" about the picture. Tonight's picture:



Tonight's lesson: Jesus was dead and then He came alive again. This is Jesus coming out of the tomb.
