October Begins ...

One of the highlights of this week (and every beginning of October) was general conference. Our family home evening lessons for the entire month have been about prophets and all week we tried to teach Brooklyn the first presidency and quorum of the twelve with little drawings that symbolized their names. Today, while eating a pear she said, "Like Elder Perry!"
We all really enjoyed conference. Here are some other fun things from the week.
Ahhhh! What's in the entertainment center! Ta da!

Where's Benson? (he loves this game)

 There he is!

There is a very small spider on the wall by the crack. Weird? Maybe, but a 3-year-olds fascination with the world is contagious.

 Mowing Grandpa's lawn.

Helping Grandpa in the garden. (Like my shirt. Oh I know I'm not in the picture. My shirt is on Brooklyn. :)

This is his motivation to walk. "I will carry this!"

This little climber literally was climbing up the walls yesterday. I have witnesses.

We love to dance. Brooklyn is in a little girls dance class that one of my friends is teaching but that is only once a week so we often will turn on music and just move (I confess I love it as much as her - my dancing days are not done!). This is only mildly embarrassing evidence that Daddy was dancing with her. That blur in the corner is his foot dancing through the air. Impressive eh?

 A step.

Sunday mornings are ... a little bit like Matt's psychiatry rotation (see previous post). One way I can get myself looking presentable in time to play the organ before 9 o'clock church is to let Brooklyn put on makeup with me. Lovely isn't she?

 Love.
